Part of the hike is an adventure trail for kids. Up here, wood sculptures of hogs roaming for acorns depict the old tradition of sending your pigs into the forest to fatten up on acorns. There's also a lot of information on the importance of oaks for the area. Today, the local oaks are a famous crop for the production of wine barrels.
