My brother loaned me the exquisite Sony 100-4999 GM OSS 4.5-5.6 tele zoom lens. I took this shot last night as the Moon temporarily moved out of the clouds. On my APSC the max tele focal length is 600. That is plenty for some reasonable detail, especially if you use post processing to enhance. Rest assured, the Sony G Series lenses aren't overhyped. They deliver, even on lesser cameras like my Sony a6000.
