Hospitalfield, Angus
Established on the site of a medieval hospital which supported Arbroath Abbey, Hospitalfield is a beautiful, peaceful place to visit. The house was the vision of 19th Century artist Patrick Allan Fraser and his wife, Elizabeth, and their legacy lives on in the support of artists, craftspeople, and in the walled garden. In the foreground is the bronze sculpture ‘Rio’ by Scottish artist Eduardo Paolozzi - on loan until 2027 from the Hunterian in Glasgow.
