Shiveluch strongest eruption in last 15 years

The Shiveluch volcano in Kamchatka has entered into a strong eruptive phase producing the most violent explosive eruption in the last 15 years. This image has been captured by the Landsat-9 satellite on April 15 and shows the current gas and ash emissions from the crater as well as the thermal anomalies in the crater.
