The aftermath of latest Etna eruption
The consequences of the latest Etna eruption,the first of 2022, are finally visible in the cloud free view of the whole volcano area as captured by Copernicus Sentinel2 on Feb.18
A weak activity still is ongoing, marked by gas emissions and ash trails on the fresh snow, while the SE crater has changed its structure again. The majestic Bovo Valley stands out on the lower rigth side with its typical colors and shape.
