Shropshire Aurora

Last night and early morning saw some major aurora activity. Around 1.00am this morning was the strongest activity where you could see colourless aurora pillars along the north horizon with night adjusted eyes. The camera does a better job capturing the aurora colours where I took this panorama of the aurora behind an old 18th century mine engine house.
