Steampunk character redesigns

I love to play with how characters from certain media (in this case manga) would look like wearing different clothes or in an 'alternate universe'.

Here are some examples of My Hero Academia characters (created by Kohei Horikoshi) in a Steampunk style.

I redesigned them before the official art came out, which was also in a Steampunk style. This means that I only used the characters' original hero costumes as inspiration - hence a large amount of development on the Sketchbook pages.
