Dublin Bus PA202 - One Last Ride
And so, 99 years embedded in Dublin and it's people, the 46A is now gone for good. Unless somehow someway someone will bring it back. Unfortunately, PA202 was certainly not what I hoped to operate the last ever 46A, thankfully, GT95, from a previous 46A service stayed behind and operated alongside PA202, seen at the back of the station in the picture. The moments leading up to its departure were a mix of sadness and excitement, though the sadness heavily outweighed the only excitement of witnessing the last ever 46A. People were taking pictures of eachother with the last ever service, which made for a warm atmosphere on such a cold and gloomy night. There's nothing to say about the E2, except that it's a disappointment. Maybe one day, we will see the 46A "traverse" the streets of Baile Atha Cliath once more.
