Antpittas

Justifiably once almost mythical group of birds (and a bit of a personal obsession) but in recent years several species have been trained to come in to a regular supply of worms. Untrained birds of most species remain a challenge to glimpse let alone photograph in the wild (as my attempts at some will testify!) and sometimes the best we can manage/hope for is to enjoy and identify them by call/song. These are the results of visits to Costa Rica (2022), Colombia (2023) and Northern Ecuador (2024 - several still to be processed/added to here).
