Minnie Lansbury memorial clock A clock on a parade of shops/flats in Bow Road. Minnie Lansbury was a local woman who became part of the Suffragette movement, and became its General Secretary. She was made an Alderman of Poplar in 1919 and in 1920 was one of 30 imprisoned for their part in the Poplar Rates Rebellion (see 866107).
