AC 712-S Forklift modified in height

AC 712S Tractor with a modified B-1 Forklift attachment 7-4-2012. Henry Mfg built the orginial forklift attachments for the B-1 and the Big Ten A-C Tractors. Also notice that dual wheels have been added for stability. The hydraulic valve has been changed. Now I sit on the hood to drive and the valves are at my right and makes it easy to operate. The steering was changed to steer from the right side. While sitting on the hood and turning the steering wheel to the left the forks move left. This is an aftermarket unit and would only lift 35 inches. I found out that the cylinder was 2-way and would extend to 58 inches. I added 18 inches to the top of the mast. I was told the shuttle shift would not work. It has 4-speeds in both directions and in the lowest speed it works better than a regular transmission. Granted it doesn't have the power in reverse that is does in forward gears. When loading on my gooseneck trailer I drive it on with steering wheels first for the power. When unloading I sit on the hood and drive like a regular forklift. The shuttle does have hold back power.
