Young and Hopeless...
On an ugly Saturday morning I found this juvenile Nuthatch on the ground unable to fly. He was injured and far from home. I took him and left him on a branch on a tree nearby, hoping he would recover soon, but he could barely stand and would keep falling. I took one picture of him before I left him on a mossy fallen tree to rest, since he was exhausted and would fall asleep every one minute before I would check on him, thinking he died. The next day I went to see if he was still there, but to my surprise, he wasn't. Hopefully he recovered...
