Verdugos rattlesnake

I was pointing my camera up photographing a bird, and saw people waving at me...waved back, and continued to shoot...they yelled and pointed toward my feet...I looked down...and was straddling this guy...I carefully stepped off, changed to wider lens, and shot this...fortunately he spun around and vanished into the brush when he woke up...I learned to pay more attention out there...
