Work Selfie
Obviously, I had to keep the trend going - 0.5 camera angle for the win! This selfie was taken in a place I seem to spend a good majority of my time lately - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Between work and clinical hours for nursing school, I find myself at the hospital three to four days a week for 12 hour shifts. Just like most of my other selfies, if you look close enough, a few of my work friends are featured. This day was seemingly not very busy considering there are three of us in this photo sitting at the nurses station, however, this is rarely the case. The reasoning for this photo was a response to my friends inquiring about why I was unable to go to lunch with a few friends.
A snippet from my first album - the selfie album. I chose this picture because I realized it correlates most to my growth this semester. As I enter my last semester of college, I am also entering my last few months of working as a patient care associate at the hospital. Instead, in a few short months I will graduate with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing, prepare to take the NCLEX, and if all goes as planned, begin my career as a registered nurse. I chose this photo because it encompasses where I am currently - in the hunter green scrubs designated for PCAs, and where I will be soon - in the navy blue scrubs designated for nurses. This semester, I became a better PCA. In a few short months, I will look back and remember how I felt in this moment here reflecting on what I am now and dreaming of how much more I will become.
This semester, I grew.
