With the intense heat wave here in Texas, the backyard birdbath has become a popular place for birds, squirrels, possums, foxes, and neighborhood cats. But the intelligent Blue Jays are always the first to the birdbath after it has been refilled with cool water. This Jay was not bashful at all--the air temperature was 107F that day.
