Forgotten

A fireplug stands at the edge of a subdivision road. The subdivision was never built and the fireplug never used. Nature has overtaken it all, leaving only an interesting place to walk.

 

Camera: Univex Universal Mercury II with 35mm f3.5 Tricor lens. This camera (circa 1946) takes half-frame photos on 35mm film. It features an unusual rotary shutter which holds up well over time and can take up to 1/1000 second exposures.
