The Lonsdale, located in the Intake area of Doncaster, was a large community pub serving the local residents. It was built during the inter-war period and was last refurbished in Autumn 2012. The pub was part of the Greene King Meat & Eat portfolio. The Lonsdale was situated only 200 yards from Doncaster Race Course, making it a popular spot for both locals and visitors.
The pub was closed and boarded up 31 December 2016.
