CP2816-StilwellDepot
On the return trip for the CP steam special, I happened to be free that particular day so I decided to head back over to the former KCS mainline with friend Steve Davis and catch the action.
Our first stop was Stilwell, OK where the steam engine was feeling the effects of longer being special and becoming just another train. This is evidenced here as they pull into the siding past the depot. They actually pulled into the siding behind a rock train. Both trains were short enough to fit so that 2 SBs could roll by before the NBs continued on.
I had never thought about getting a picture with this depot, but it just worked out that I did. Big crowd of people all around here.
