BNSF139-Urban(tele)

On Saturday morning, I actually got out and railfanned around Tulsa, which I haven't done in a Saturday in quite some time. I started the morning off poorly with cloud cover off to the east, which blocked out the first 30 minutes of sunlight. However, as the sun rose, the clouds burned off and it became a great day.

I saw the local was lined to come out of the yard around 7:15am, so I high tailed it to Downtown so that I could catch him at Urban. I had about 5 minutes to spare, so it was textbook timing in my book.

The 467 local had a nice consist as per usual. One of my favorites, GP60M #139, served as the leader while an SD40-2 and a GP39-3 served as the other EMDs in the consist.

Here's the train as it passes under the Detroit St overpass in Downtown at 7:40am, which is right next to the old Union Station that hasn't been used in over 50 years.
