PCBA Assembly China
The PCBA Assembly China board contains copper traces without any circuit components at this point in the PCB fabrication process. In mounting the components, there needs to be drilling of holes at the points where the electrical and electronics parts are placed on the board. With either lasers or a special kind of drill bit made of Tungsten Carbide, the holes are drilled. Once drilling of holes is performed, hollow rivets are inserted into them and they are coated by the process of electroplating which then establishes an electrical connection between the layers of the board. To coat the entire PCB except for the pads and the holes a masking material is then applied. In the PCB fabrication process, the last step is to screen print the board so labels and the legend appear at their proper locations.
