Intention: For this succession of photos, I wanted to show off a bold amount of contrast simply follow the rule of 3rds to focus more on the change in ISOs.

 

Text Reference: When reading The Photographer’s Eye, Freeman details different concepts of contrast, I used the example image for “Contrasty” to balance high contrast against opposing tones. (Chapter 2. Design Basics, Contrast)

 

Outcome: I think the distressed red tones and textures aide well in showing off contrast against the skull’s cream tones.
