Light and Dark
The next morning we woke to sub-freezing temperatures and a light coating of snow and sleet which had fallen during the night.
The storms were still flying across the canyon and the light was beautiful as it swept across the pillars and thrones. It was slightly more open to the east and the light flooded in from that direction spotlighting the river and the rugged beauty. I usually don't process in black and white but I did on this photograph to try and emphasize the light.
