Slums
The sun stood deep. It was pleasantly warm and incredibly quiet. It was an ordinary summer afternoon. Nobody walked out the door in this area around this time. The slums on the hills surrounding the city are a snug shelter. You could see the whole city from up here. A strange sight behind us the multi-storey huts of the slums assembled from different materials and colors and in front of us the glowing modern metropolis. We were trained as scouts. We should find a contact who lived in the slums. It was a surrender like any other. We had expected little to no resistance at all. We turned a corner at Block 49. Suddenly there were gunshots.

"Crap!"
Two soldiers!
We took cover behind a corner -
3 2 1
go! go! go!
Two precise shots were enough to take out the Eurasian patrol. Forward! We crossed the square and stood in front of the target building.
