Hakodate Station

I never saw the sun in Hakodate but that does not mean it wasn't a beautiful place. It sure rained a lot though.

"Oyako" in front of JR Hakodate Station, a monument based on the theme of "interaction" created by industrial designer Shohei Hayashi. The work depicts a parent protecting their child by hiding it under their stomach, and was installed in 2003 as part of the redevelopment of the station square.
