Sakura in Shibuya
An old sketch reflecting what a residential neighborhood looked like in Japan during Cherry Blossom. My office building was next door, on the main blvd, extremely busy and noisy. But turn the corner into one of these little side street, and it is heavenly quiet and beautiful. I loved walking around these alleys. This sketch was made during one of those promenades (probably during lunch hour). "Sakura in Shibuya", ink and watercolor on paper, 11" x 14".
