Way to Calvary

In the year 33 A.C. the streets of Jerusalem are full of people. Some are buying and some are selling. Women fetch water from the well. A carter lets his ox drink. A small flock of sheep is just pushing to the watering place.
Suddenly the sound of a trumpet sounds and the street trembles with heavy footsteps. Roman soldiers with whips drive Jesus carrying his cross to the hill of Golgotha.
Before they abused and mocked Jesus, but he did not open his mouth like a lamb being led to the slaughterhouse. Jesus didn't fight back. He voluntarily accepted his death on the cross and with it the guilt of mankind in order to clear the way to God. He gave his life so that we could be saved. We just have to accept that.
I created the diorama based on texts in the Bible (e.g. John 19).
On Good Friday we commemorate Jesus' death on the cross and on Easter Sunday his resurrection.

Camino al calvario
En el año 33 d.C. Las calles de Jerusalén están llenas de gente. Algunos están comprando y algunos están vendiendo. Las mujeres sacan agua del pozo. Un carretero deja beber a su buey. Un pequeño rebaño de ovejas está empujando hacia el abrevadero.
De repente suena el sonido de una trompeta y la calle tiembla con pasos pesados. Soldados romanos con látigos conducen a Jesús cargando su cruz hasta la colina del Gólgota.
Antes abusaban y se burlaban de Jesús, pero él no abrió la boca como un cordero llevado al matadero. Jesús no se defendió. Él aceptó voluntariamente su muerte en la cruz y con ella la culpa de la humanidad para abrir el camino a Dios. Él dio su vida para que pudiéramos ser salvos. Solo tenemos que aceptar eso.
Creé el diorama basado en textos de la Biblia (por ejemplo, Juan 19).
El Viernes Santo conmemoramos la muerte de Jesús en la cruz y el Domingo de Resurrección su resurrección.

Weg nach Golgatha
Im Jahre 33 nach Christus. Die Strassen von Jerusalem sind voller Leute. Einige sind am Kaufen und andere am Verkaufen. Frauen holen Wasser am Brunnen. Ein Fuhrmann lässt seinen Ochsen trinken. Eine kleine Schafherde drängt gerade zur Tränke.
Plötzlich ertönt Posaunenschall und die Strasse erzittert von schweren Schritten. Römische Soldaten treiben mit Peitschen Jesus, der sein Kreuz trägt, zum Hügel Golgatha.
Vorher haben sie Jesus misshandelt und verspottet, aber er tat seinen Mund nicht auf, wie ein Lamm, das man zur Schlachtbank führt. Jesus wehrte sich nicht. Er nahm seinen Kreuzestod und damit die Schuld der Menschheit freiwillig auf sich um den Weg zu Gott frei zu machen. Er gab sein Leben, damit wir gerettet werden können. Wir müssen das nur annehmen.
Ich habe das Diorama nach Texten in der Bibel (z.B.: Johannes 19) erstellt.
Am Karfreitag gedenken wir Jesu Tod am Kreuz und am Ostersonntag seiner Auferstehung.
