iPhone Haiku 6 After

after the vision

came the rustling sky

when the seraph

let me cry

*****

After such intense experiences that I have felt at Firle Beacon in East Sussex, UK, in the past, there is always a space of time where I have to just wait until I come back to myself. This can be physically taxing, exhausting. But when things calm down the mind clears and clarity returns. There is always this period of an aftermath of a vision, a period of revelation, even if it is difficult to comprehend. Sometimes there is comfort offered, but not always.

This time it felt fitting to pair this with Enigma’s “River’s of Belief”, the Returning Silence version.
