Palm Sunday
Which way is heaven
Sometimes it is hard to tell
Do I go or do I stay
But I am set on this course
So it would seem
As if there was really any choice
There will be a brief flare of glory
And then I will be gone
Travelling into the sun
Send your loved ones to me
Send them one by one
I promise I will collect them
Keep them all close
Singing our love song
We can all join in a rapture
Until the last note is sung
Better than being alone
Wandering endlessly
Coming undone
Stay with me
Even when the blood
Has gone
This image and poem is the start of my Easter Series, and it will continue right up until Easter Monday, sometimes with more than one image a day.
It has been an intense time choosing the images and writing the poems with world events in my mind, acting as a backdrop to the meaning of my words.
But I hope you enjoy them, and that they give some hope and comfort to those that need it at this time.
All my love and Best Wishes for Easter, and beyond.
