Redemption
I have been standing here wondering
As I look at the sky
Would it have been easier
If I had just let you lie
The days would have been normal
The nights remained peaceful
But only really for a short time
It would have eventually
Caught us all
You bargained with fate
Delaying the price
But now its me picking up the tab
Trying to save my soul
Thoughts hover between land and sky. The view towards Litlington, East Sussex, UK, as I travel home.
