The Wizard
The Wizard
Strange how easy I accepted you
An alien on the Downs
There is no denying your elegance
Nor that power in your crown
I love the sounds you make
A metal wizard
Conducting the elements
Forcing your blades round and round
Sending fire back to the ground
Touching you and I feel alive
Your power running through my veins
So that when I leave
I am somehow energised
Power sparking through my cells
A late summer evening found me here, after an afternoon spent at Glynde Church. I often drive up to this point behind Glyndebourne Opera House, who commissioned this Turbine to be built to provide them with green energy.
The sun was lighting up the Turbine set against a beautiful sky, so I stopped and took some shots.
