Always Free

You set me free

Where I always longed to be

But I will always find you

And keep you here with me

This Antiquarian White Horse was cut into the hillside more recently than its famous neighbour The Long Man at Wilmington. This White Horse is still trotting over the hillside near Litlington, overlooking the Cuckmere Valley in East Sussex, UK.

I like to think that the owner loved his or her horse so much they carved their companion out onto the hillside, to keep them near, to remind them of how much they loved to ride over "High and Over", the hillside where this lively horse is carved.
