keeled treehopper

Those "aphids" tended by ants that I couldn't quite identify? Turns out they are not aphids at all, but keeled treehopper nymphs! Here are a couple of adult keeled treehoppers from the same area. The nymphs are apparently also a source of yummy nectar for ants... I didn't get it quite right at first, but that's science!
