A 19th-century Sunni mosque in Vladikavkaz. North Ossetia-Alania. Russia.

One of the main attractions of Vladikavkaz - the Sunni Mosque - was built 120 years ago. Azerbaijani oilman Murtuza Mukhtarov helped to build the shrine. He was inspired to do this by his love for the Ossetian Lisa Tuganova. ... The shrine has become a symbol of peace, harmony and love.
