Ais Gill Viaduct

This is shorter in length - but built higher in structure - than Lunds Viaduct, which is around one mile away from this one.

 

"Ais Gill summit is the highest point on the Settle to Carlisle Railway [ ]. It is on the B6259 road, at the head of the Mallerstang Valley, just before the boundary between Cumbria and North Yorkshire."
