This Monster Will Return in Kong vs Godzilla Sequel!
Godzilla vs Kong director Adam Wingard recently said that he wanted to bring back creatures from Hollow Earth for the latest movie in the Monsterverse. When asked about whether Wingard would make a Titanus Doug film, Wingard said that he was interested in making the film. Wingard also said that Titanus Doug would still return if Wingard got the chance to make a new movie in the Monsterverse.
“If I make another Godzilla movie, Titanus Doug will come back. Doug still has plenty of chances to come back. So let's push Legendary Pictures to officially make a Titanus Doug movie." Says Adam Wingard.
Actually Titanus Doug is not an official name. The reptile monster in Hollow Earth is not officially named, especially in the Godzilla vs Kong movie. They are simply described as "lizard-like creatures" and are sometimes referred to as Foetodons. However, an official art book of the film uses the term “Scaly Quadrupeds”. Well for some Monsterverse fans, they give the name Doug or Titanus Doug.
The last movie in the Monsterverse was Godzilla vs Kong. The film concludes with a potential sequel in the Monsterverse. However, we don't know when the latest movie in Monsterverse will be made, considering that the production house still hasn't made an official announcement regarding the sequel. Legendary Pictures itself managed to build a universe that contains monsters, and fans are looking forward to the continuation of this universe.
