Common Darters - Sympetrum striolatum - in flight

Yelverton village pond, Norfolk - 9th September 2021.

A visit to this newly restored pond saw me make my first ever attempts to capture dragonflies in flight. This pair were constantly dipping down into the scum as the female released her eggs.
