I crave your venom, As the ill-fated prey to the predator. In your stormy harbor, I lingered, An arrow lost, in the endless rain. A siren with no song to sing, Ivy climbing walls that crumble, I am a shadow with no name, Longing for the sweetness of your love. The gunshot resounds— A harsh echo through the void of me, Irreversible, the damage done, A love once vibrant, now just a memory. In your ocean, lay me to rest, Carry the weight I can no longer bear. I dreamt of salvation in your arms, Hoping, always hoping, you’d be there. But the shot echoes— Through the hollows of my heart, A love so fierce, now fractured, A bond forever torn apart. Your absence cuts deeper than any blade, An ache so profound in the stillness of night, Each heartbeat a reminder of what cannot return, The love we lost, the end sealed with a gunshot.
