The goal was to demonstrate the Rule of 3rds. Freeman says the subject being slightly off center makes for a dynamic picture, so I positioned the frame so that the flower would be off center. I think the flower really pops in this picture with the shallow depth of field plus the rule of 3rds. I adjusted levels, vibrance, and saturation, and cropped the picture.
