Sunset Over The Nile Part 1
0600 East Cairo
NATO forces had recently been deployed in East Cairo and multiple squads where sent to recon the surrounding areas. As one squad was scouting the canals of the Nile to avoid being spotted they heard a voice above. They quickly got down and noticed it was a soldier from the United Arabs People’s republic (UAPR) due to the outfit matching exactly what their commanding officer and many of the locals described them to look.
“Shit” one of them mumbled “don’t let him see you, we don’t need to engage this is only a reconnaissance mission.”
“Yeah I know” the other one hastily replied “I was at the briefing as well.”
Then all of a sudden the Mujahideen yelled “من هذا يظهر نفسك!” (Who is that, show yourself!)
After receiving no response he raised his gun and approached the canal. The NATO soldiers did the same and raised their guns for the shoot off that would most likely ensue. As soon as he approached them enough to clearly see them both sides started firing.
