NGC 253 Sculptor Galaxy Sw200p CC Asi294mcpro 18L 300s g125 -10c 3D 0B 1h30m 02.08.2024 L-Pro

NGC 253 (Galáxia do Escultor), localizada a aproximadamente 11,4 milhões de anos-luz da Terra, na constelação de Escultor. Ela é famosa por sua intensa formação estelar, sendo possível observar faixas de poeira e h-alpha. É um excelente alvo para astrofotografia, com um comprimento angular de aproximadamente 27 minutos de arco, ela é quase do mesmo tamanho aparente que a Lua Cheia vista da Terra! Captura feita na Chapada dos Veadeiros.

 

NGC 253 (Sculptor Galaxy), located about 11.4 million light-years from Earth in the Sculptor constellation. It is famous for its intense star formation, with visible dust lanes and H-alpha emissions. It is an excellent target for astrophotography, with an angular size of approximately 27 arcminutes, making it nearly the same apparent size as the Full Moon seen from Earth! Capture taken in Chapada dos Veadeiros.

 

- Exposures: 18 Ligth Frames of 300s, 3 darks and 0 bias, used L-Pro filter. 1h30 minutes total exposure. Processing on Pixinsight. Bortle 2

- Camera: Zwo Asi 294mc Pro, gain 125 at -10°C

- Scope: Sky-Watcher 200p (200/1000mm) with GSO 1.1 Comma Corrector

- Mount: Eq5 Sky-watcher mount and AstroEq tracking mod

- Guiding specs: Asiair and ASI290mc in an adapted finderscope 50mm
