The Ernest E. Tschannen Eye Institute
Our family had a private tour yesterday of The Ernest E. Tschannen Eye Institute, which will be dedicated next week. For the past four years this has been planned, organized, and constructed.
Faculty, staff, and patients have all played a role in the design of this state-of-the-art eye center. The first patients will be welcomed December 5th, 2022.
The Claire Burns Cornea Center is here, all beginning three years ago when we established the Claire Burns Audacity Grant for Cornea Research in our daughter's name. We are ever hopeful to save her vision as new research continues.
We are deeply grateful to Dr. Mark Mannis, Chair, Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Science. There is a cure out there, we know there is.
