Ben Crom

Looking down upon Ben Crom Reservoir in the Mourne Mountains on a gloomy day. It is named for the pointy mountain at its head on the right. It sends its waters (and there's plenty of rain around!) to the distant city of Belfast.

There's a great trot along the left bank of the reservoir from a path descending gently from the right here, down to the enticingly named Shelter Stone at the norther edge. There is a rougher way by the stream straight ahead here but it's not a joy.
