Barad-dûr

Well, not Sauron's castle in The Lord of the Rings, but kind of, when given a heavy black and white treatment. This is Scrabo Tower, a local landmark overlooking Strangford Lough and the town of Newtownards. It is 41m high and was built in the C19th.

It was actually a lovely morning with blue sky and fluffy clouds moving in a light breeze. Good for long exposure shots where you want to see some patterns in the sky. I wanted to test out my new set of K&F magnetic ND filters. I rather overexposed it here, but like the dramatic feel.

Adapted Canon ef17-40mm f4L.
