Fashion girl in the desert

Something is terribly wrong with the weather.

In 1972 the doomed magazine "Primper's Weekly" was launched. Over-endowed with a budget from playboy and dilettante millionaire Hastrubble Wallkin, we see here a charming photoshoot of his companion of the time, Simca Poorcar.

When Negs Bigdup, the developer, was asked about the intriguing sky effect, he laughed, and said it was to do with a very dark room and a mistake with a bag of "sugar".

"Primper's" ran for just seven weeks, and Simca was on the front cover of all the editions. The now rare "posing as a scarecrow in a turnip field" cover is highly sought after, as Simca herself objected to the poor dress sense in that shoot that was imposed upon her by her photographer and advisor, Koor Lukatem.

Simca ordered all the remaining copies to be used to set fire to Hastrubble's bed; rumour has it that one copy was liberated by Herhipsan Isaflashin, Hastrubble's new maid, and is now somewhere in a collector's basement.
