The Tor des Geants takes place in majestic Aosta Valley. It’s a race of epic proportions with a cutoff time of 150 hours. Less than 60 percent of runners make it the whole way, which is saying something considering how crazy you need to be to sign up. But at least it’s supported with 43 aid stations and 7 ‘life bases’, which are more substantial refreshment points.
