Deadhead
After the eating the worlds best maple iced donut in Grandview, MO (from Holt's Donuts), I went about to check different spots out for the late deadhead move.
With the clouds starting to break, I settled on this tele shot as this is the only place that wouldn't be completely backlit. But sure enough, a thicker blanket of clouds rolled in to mute any harsh shadows.
This is KCS Train B-SHKC just west of Belton, MO on the KCS Pittsburg Subdivision. It will wait in Kansas City, MO to be combined with Canadian Pacific's Business Train for the pending merger.
