Jellyfish Nebula - new procesing
Using the Jellyfisch Nebula data from the previous image, I tried a new processing pipeline to improve the visibility of the OIII data.
Stacking: SiriL (Ha & OIII extraction)
Processing: Pixinsight
* DBE on each, Ha and OIII
* Histogram stretch and linear fit
* Star removal and star mask using Starnet 2
* Noise reduction on the starless images
* Combining Ha and OIII using Pixelmath with a Heaviside function (approximated by a tanh), softly replacing Ha with OIII where OIII exceeds a certain threshold compared to Ha
* ASinh stretch on the RGB result
* Pixelmath for combining Ha and OIII to color image for stars
* Blending the RGB nebula into the new image using the image mask from StarNet2
* Minor color adjustment with curves transformation
