[DE] Von 1999 bis 2003 lieferte das Konsortium aus Adtrans und DWA die M8D-NF welche neben Essen auch noch in anderen Formen aber mit dem Essener Kopf in Halle(Saale), Dessau und Krakau im Einsatz. Eingesetzt werden die M8C-NF auf allen Tram Linien der Ruhrbahn im Essener Raum mit Ausnahmen der 107E und 108.
