Invincibility

A poor photo, I know, but when I saw this derelict at the back of the Peoplesbus depot in Old Roan, Aintree, I decided to snap a shot through the general detritus and parked lorries anyway. Something about it just stood out to me. God, I'm glad I did - a second shot I took confirms the identity of this coach as Invincible 178. Later registered as PCK 335, this coach was built in 1988 as E906 TOJ and is the second of three MCW Metroliner 400GT demonstrators and the second-to-last Metroliner to be built. The third vehicle survives in a museum on the Isle of Man, while the first and second dropped off the face of the world some time ago - I can confirm that both still survive, however, this one in Liverpool and the other in Gloucestershire, after I (somewhat accidentally) went to the effort of hunting them down!
