Now nearly ten minutes after the train reached the bottom of the hill, the battle is only half-over for double-headed K classes K183 & K100 as their towering smoke display finally comes into view for the crowd of onlookers at McCormacks Road, watching on as a brief patch of sun illuminates the pairing as they haul train 8197 and Steamrail's Triple-Header K Classes to Ballarat tour up Ingliston Bank towards the summit at Bank Box Loop. The notable absence of K190 on the tour was due to a last-minute boiler defect, resulting in diesel T395 (out of view) assisting the two remaining K's from the rear of the train. 8/10/22
